1. Introduction

The following measures are in place to ensure our compliance with GDPR legislation introduced on 25 May 2018.

2. Cookies and visiting this site

We do not place cookies of our own on your computer when you visit our site. We do not capture or store any identifiable personal information about you.

Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms with which we interact and on which we advertise may place a cookie on your computer. This does not enable us or them to capture or store data which is identifiable to you as an individual.

Vimeo, YouTube and other platforms which provide functionality to our site may place a cookie on your computer. This does not enable us or them to capture or store data which is identifiable to you as an individual.

3. Filling in forms on this site

If you fill in and submit any contact form on this site, you will be reminded that in doing so you are acknowledging that you have been advised to read this notice of our GDPR measures, and have either done so or have waived your opportunity to do so.

The data that you submit via forms on this site (including your name, email address, telephone number) will be stored on our secure mail server, as well as on our local servers/hard drives in our CRM software application. It will also be stored on our secure web server hosted by wordpress.org. Some or all of this data may also, from time to time, be transferred to third party secure Cloud storage utilities such as Google Drive.

When you fill in and submit any contact form on this site, you may be asked to consent to our adding your name to an email list for the purposes of our own marketing. If you consent to this, your data may be stored on our systems, on Cloud storage systems, or by third party Cloud service providers such as Mail Chimp.

4. Contacting us by email or telephone

If you contact us in the first instance by email or telephone, we may request basic personal information such as name, email address, telephone number etc from you in order to maintain a record of your enquiry and to prepare for the possibility of you electing in due course to enter into a commercial relationship with us.

If you do this, we will retain the information you provide on our local servers/hard drives in our CRM software application. Some or all of this may also, from time to time, be transferred to third party secure Cloud storage utilities such as Google Drive.

5. Becoming a client

If you become a client, which is to say if you enter into a contractual agreement with us to carry out work on your behalf, we may request certain further information from you. This will not in general involve any personal data, though it may by inference include your home address if your business operates from that address.

Any data you supply in this context will be stored on our secure mail server, as well as on our local servers/hard drives in our CRM software application. Some or all of this may also, from time to time, be transferred to third party secure Cloud storage utilities such as Google Drive.

Data that you supply relating to your business and its banking (which may by inference include your personal account details if you are a sole trader or partnership) may be transferred to our third-party secure Cloud accounting service provider, which is currently Natwest.

6. Email correspondence

Any additional data that you might disclose to us in the course of e-mail correspondence will be stored on our secure mail server, as well as on our local servers/hard drives in our CRM software application. Some or all of this may also, from time to time, be transferred to third party secure Cloud storage utilities such as Google Drive.

7. Mailing lists

We do not currently maintain a marketing email list of our own. However, when you fill in and submit any contact form on this site, you may be asked to consent to our adding your name to an email list for the purposes of our own marketing. If you do consent to this, your data may be stored on our systems, on Cloud storage systems, or by third party Cloud service providers such as Mail Chimp.

8. Consents and Acceptances

We maintain our database of users who have accepted our Privacy & GDPR Policy on our secure webserver at BP Web.

9. Data Requests

You may request a copy of any record we hold against your name by writing to us at gdpr@arienecreativestudio.com. Please allow 7 working days for us to retrieve and provide your record to you.
